We made a very simple video to follow on how to make sea moss gel from the comfort of your kitchen. For those of you looking to make sea moss gel instead of buying it already made.
Making sea moss gel is very simple. All you need; sea moss (Irish moss), spring, alkaline, or filtered water, and a high-powered blender. I totally understand if you just don't have the time to prepare a sea moss gel at home, but when you do find the time, this video will always be here, waiting for your return.
The upside of making sea moss gel at home is that you can control the taste. Our raw sea moss, when turned into sea moss gel is flavorless, so when you add it to your smoothies or foods you will not know it is even there. Sea moss gel is so versatile. Check out this blog to see what else you can use your sea moss gel for!
If you do not need to make a whole 32 ounces of sea moss gel, you do not need to. You can lessen the amount of sea moss to water ratio. In the following video, I use 3/4 cup of raw sea moss to make 32 oz of sea moss gel. The sea moss gel in the video is tasteless on its own, but I like to add it to my smoothies. Put your sea moss gel in an airtight container, like a mason jar this will keep your gel staying fresh longer. After at least 2 hours in the refrigerator, you'll notice the sea moss gel thicken.
